THE PAST IS STILL MAKING NOISE.

WE'RE NOT HERE TO SHUT IT UP.

Based in Winsted, Connecticut, Dedstok Relics is a tiny salvage museum and shop for old objects, strange histories, and useful junk with a few lives left in it.

We hunt vintage finds and antiques across northwestern Connecticut, then bring them to our physical booth at The Shops at New Hartford.

Old objects still carry evidence. The job is to notice it before the dumpster does.

THE STUFF
ISN'T DEAD.

IT'S JUST BETWEEN JOBS.

A battered vintage poster, an old camera, a Matchbox or Hot Wheels diecast car with the paint worn off in exactly the right places—you can feel that somebody was there before you.

Architectural salvage, Mid-century modern decor, old advertising, toys, band shirts, housewares, and collectible oddities all enter the pile with equal rights.

Somebody chose it, used it, saved it, forgot it, or couldn't take it with them. “Dead” is often just something somebody stopped looking at.

HISTORY HAS FINGERPRINTS.

THE WORK.

Restoration and preservation here means keeping the useful evidence in vintage posters, ephemera, cameras, and odd old objects—not sanding their lives off.

KEEP THE WEAR THAT MATTERS.
STOP THE DAMAGE THAT DOESN'T.

Found in basements, estate piles, parking lots, and cars packed with terrible spatial judgment.

Cleaned, stabilized, flattened, aligned, repaired—without erasing the life already lived.

Maker marks, handwriting, old catalogs, weird patents, local histories. The object gets its name back.

TINY SALVAGE
MUSEUM.

Part salvage shop, part punk museum, part field station for curious people from Winsted, Winchester, Torrington, New Hartford, and the rest of Litchfield County.

Collectors also drift in from the Berkshires and southwestern Massachusetts, or cross from the Hudson Valley and eastern New York when the old roads feel persuasive.

Not arranged for frictionless consumption. Arranged so you notice something.

BUILD THE PLACE YOU WANTED TO WANDER INTO.

THE HUMAN PART.

Dedstok is one person finding the object, cleaning it, repairing it when it needs help, researching where it came from, photographing it, writing the label, building the booklet, making the website, pricing the booth, and then wondering why the printer has chosen violence again.

The Stokpilr shop, physical booth and visit guide, Transmissions, zines, preservation kits, and whatever strange machine comes next are all doors into the same place.

THIS ISN'T BUILT FOR ENDLESS INVENTORY.
IT'S BUILT FOR DISCOVERY.
